The School of Indian Wisdom was founded in 2021 by Dr. Raj Balkaran, a scholar with advanced academic degrees in Sanskrit texts and deep spiritual training in Indian wisdom traditions. A prolific researcher and expert in Indian mythology, Dr. Balkaran has been initiated into various Indian Wisdom Traditions, apprenticing with an Indian spiritual master for twelve years. With twenty years of daily spiritual practice and study, he combines a rich research background with extensive experience in speaking, coaching, and teaching. As an accomplished online educator, he teaches courses at the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies, Yogic Studies, and Embodied Philosophy.
